Since I experienced a lot of probs with my A7V and read about other probs with the KT7 I was thinking "There must be more under the sun".

Can you recommend ?

Thanks...

MSI K7T Pro 2 or Pro 2A. Read the VIA KT133 Motherboard Roundup on the AnandTech front page. :)

Another vote for MSI K7T PRO2/PRO2A ,the A version as ATA-1OO support, btw the MSI K7T PRO is also good choice if you are not interested in overclocking.

MSI K7T Pro2 or Pro2-A if you want ATA-100 support.

They are ROCK SOLID and allow full overclocking by both FSB and multiplier. IF you don't want to overclock, then get an MSI K7T Pro

I just finished assembling a system with a Soyo SY-K7VTA. The MSI pro-2 was not quite available when I ordered, just missed out on the first ones at Mwave.

The Soyo seems to be a very solid board, the installation & software was a breeze. Haven't finished with the tweaks, too busy elsewhere. The multiplier jumpers are no big deal, it's not the kind of thing I'm inclined to mess with much once I've found the sweet spot. Anandtech liked it, and the price was right from Mwave. If you order a mobo combo from them, the generic HSF is actually very nice, quite similar to the Taisol.

Edit- long story, the heatsink is nice, the fan sux.
