What is a good Proggie to convert .mp3 to .wma?

I think there is some program from microsoft that does that, its free.

Just curious. I am being bored right now. :)

Microsoft has one? I know their new WMP converts CDs to wma but not sure about mp3 to wma.

MS has one, I tried doing it to my whole library (~3gb) and it ruined more than 1/2 of all the mp3's... sux :/

If you want something useful to do, convert your mp3s to MP3pro format. Better quality at close to half the size. Never heard of MP3pro? Search google and then get Nero.

why not re encode all your music to lame 160kbit high quality, better quality then 128kbit, you'll notice the differences. the wma media codec isn't great at 128kbit or less either.

The conversion tool I used is found with the Plus! XP package, I just remembered

I use Advanced WMA Workshop to convert files. It will also rip right off a CD into .wma, .mp3 or .ogg format.
