What is a good price for a used XP-M 2400+?

Lower PR XP-M's are around 80 new I think. But then again, I hear the new chips have fixed mults, so an older one with variable mults could sell for more now...?

how could they have fixed multi's, the whole point of them being unlocked was for powerstep, reducing power to increase battery life is very important for laptops

i think the one i bought in april was a week 50 2004, unlocked multipliers and everything, since they stopped making them a few months ago, it would be highly unlikely that they would lock the multipliers for the last few months

these chips are supposed to be laptop replacements, probably why they originally made so many

The could conceivably set an upper-limit on the chips, while still allowing them to be clocked downward for laptop power-saving modes. The already set upper limits without lower limits on desktop Athlon 64's.

the last batches are still excellent overclockers fyi, people are hitting 2.4-2.6ghz. buying a 35w is pointless, the 45w can run well below 1.35v stock clock.

Considering you can get a skt 754 sempron for $65 which will lay waste to a mobile XP you should shoot for $50... however the chipsets available to a mobile XP e.g. NF2 is much better IMO than any in Skt 754. $60 probably should be asking price all things considered.
