I got a really cheap one on Ebay. Granted it was beaten up and the accessories were worn down, I saved lots of money. I think Dremel's are work horses so I didn't really worry about it breaking soon after receiving it. As long as it works when I get it, I'm convinced it will serve me for a while.

Every time I use my cordless Dremel I run out of juice.....

When I get a couple of spare bucks I am going to buy this.
I bought this drill kit a while back and it ROCKS!
When I bought it I got a spare 18v battery ($9.99) and a 15 month replacement warranty (5.99)

well, what quality are you looking for? ebay if you don't mind used and can find a good deal.

HD or Lowes if you're in a rush. if you want some cheap knock off, Harbor Freight.

If the Cummins truck comes to your area (truckload tool sale outfit), you can pick up the same tool as xbass mentioned for $20.+tx w/ a 99pc Ryobi accessory kit thrown in. Cummins is also online just google on Cummins Tool .

my dad had a cordless dremel and it was next to worthless when cutting metal so i went and got a corded multipro from walmart for 60-80ish i think and havent looked back. most of the tools ive got for it were from home depo. for bigger work i use a rotory air tool.

generally i purchase my stuff used from places around town such as thrift shops and pawn shops and even flea markets. you can usually get very good deals on items such as this.
even bought a moto flex shaft dremal which if your useing a dremal for cutting this is the one to have most. the motor is 3 times as big as the regular dremal and cause of the flex shaft it stays away from your work.

And if you're going to cut blowholes and side panel holes for 80mm fans, it goes MUCH easier and professional looking by using a 3" metal hole saw on a drill or drill press. Just make sure you get one with a guide bit and a high tooth count (fine) as the coarse tooth ones tend to catch a lot.

I have a dremel (corded) that I got at Home Depot on sale. I think I found it in the Hot Deals forum. But I hardly EVER use it. I use a cordless drill 100 times as much. My favorite is the 9.6 volt Dewalt, and you can get that for $100 shipped from Tyler Tool online. It feels better in my hand than any other I've used, has all the power I need for 90+% of the jobs I do. I have a more powerful cordless drill, though, a Panasonic. Two cordless drills is cool to have. Also have a cordless screwdriver - VERY VERY handy - B&D, non-elbowed, with clutch. Got it on a tip from a guy who knows!!! I live in a real broke-down house. I NEED these things!
