A ping of 60 ms on any server (unless it is your ISP) is fine. It is clearly a bandwidth or stability problem. Try turning off file and printer sharing, as well as any protocols you do not need. Go to network connections, then to whatever ethernet port or wireless card thatyour modem/ router is connected to. Also, I don't know if cable modems have USB ports, but never use a USB port for internet. For any reaason. And what is your fastest download speed? I know that tha nVidia website is a fast website, so download the latest driver off of the primary site, and if the speed is greater than 150 kps, you are fine and it is a stability/ ISP issue. If it is stability, I cannot help you, and you might want to go to a site with dedicated cable forums. But first, try the steps above. If it is lower than 150, try again on the secondary (you only need to let it dowload for about 20 sec to let it settle down and see the real speed. I can get over 4000 kbs for a few sec on the gamespot server, but it will settle down to 375 kbs in 30 sec, and yes, I typed it right). If it is consistently lower than 150, that is slow for any cable service, and either I hope that you are paying like $20 a month, or you need a different ISP, or a different service altogether.
