what is a good PCI based video card to get? I have a dell computer that has on board graphic chip and doesn't seem to have an AGP
slot 🙁...so have to get a PCI card.
 
What kind of price range you looking into?
The fastest PCI video card is still the V5 5500 by the now defunct 3dfx.
 
If you don't play many games and are willing to sacrifice about of gaming performance for better DVD, then a PCI Radeon card is a good solution.
