What online service do you guys use for game rentals? I am been out of the loops for a while because my last console was PS2 at 3 years ago and the Wii is really hard to find until i finnally got it today.

The only service i ever heard is Gamefly. Are they good?

I did a search on gamefly on this forum and there were nothing.

Thanks

Search still is almost useless :(

This has been asked a few times in Off Topic, and gamefly was the best service in most opinions. It's also supposed to be a good place to buy used games.

GameFly is probally the best but the only bad thing about them is they have horrible turn around times due to the one shipping center in California...

Incorrect. there has been a distribution center on the east cost for a couple months now. Turnaround times are MUCH faster now. It's in the PA/MD area, I can't remember the exact location at the moment.

I have had gamefly for over a year, it is awesome. I now get 10% off used game purchases as well at $5 gamefly coupon every 3 months or so. Free shipping on games also.

Also, you get the new games pretty quick too.

I get my netflix in 2 business days... 1 day to send movie back and 1 day for them to send a new movie...

Even with this new distribution center I still wait 2 damn weeks for one game... 1 week there and 1 week to get a new one... so still freaking slow and I live in Augusta, Georgia

depends on where you live then I guess. I am within a couple hours of the east coast center and can get games within a 3-4 days.

I had gamefly in TN and in IL and had turnaround times of about 5 days which really isn't bad at all. Had one game lost in the mail and reported it missing after about a week. They shipped out another asap. I'll use their service again when I get back home.

I used gamexnflix.com for about 9 months last year. At first, they were fantastic. Granted, one of their 4 distribution centers was about 2 hours away from where live, but everything got to me within a day or two. I was the type to keep games for atleast a month, so I wasn't cycling through many at all. In the last 2 or 3 months of my tenure with them, I was waiting 2-3 weeks for games, and I finally cancelled once I had a queue of 4 or 5 games that hadn't moved in a month.

I was on the 3 games at a time plan.

I had gameznflix for about 6 months. It was HORRIBLE. Sure, you can get games pretty quickly at times, but most of the top games that I wanted such as new releases, I never got. I can get pretty much every game that I want, including new releases right away with gamefly.

Gameznflix sucks!!! Ive had a few ps3 games in my queue for the last couple of months and only one has shipped so far. Ive mainly rented some blu ray movies and ps2 games. Ill be cancelling soon.

I used to have a blockbuster game pass..but now with the rise in gas prices, it just doesnt make sense to keep driving back and forth. I signed up for gamefly and so far I have had an excellent experience. Games are delivered quickly (Shipped from the new warehouse since I am in Ohio), and the selection is great. They have more 360 titles than gameznflix as well.
