What is a good, no-nonsense TV Capture Card

Hi, I'm tired of my ATI TV Wonder PCI card. It is pathetic, the drivers for XP don't work, ATI just doesn't want to support it anymore.

I'm looking for a card that has GREAT stability in XP and allows for high res (640x480+) captures (and preferably that comes with software to capture straight to divx).

Does anyone know of such a card that isn't very expensive?

i think most cards capture straight to jpeg and you can do the divx conversion yourself using some software. But as for the card, a Hauppage WinTV Studio seems to work pretty well for me.

The TV Wonder is fine in XP, just takes a lot of trouble to get it right.

Id recommend trashing the MMC, and using Dscaler from www.dscaler.org to watch TV

And PowerVCR II 3.0 for capturing. Has a lot of settings for capturing hig quality video. It is worth a look.
