What is a good mortgage rate right now? 3.75%?

I don't know if the state matters, but I'm wondering in California. I've been offered the chance to refi at 3.75% with no cost to me and no points.

last year i was closing on a house that fell through (thankfully too) and our rate was like 4.125% i believe.

i just closed at the end of august at 3.875%.

i'm a first time home buyer and put 5% down, and there is no PMI either.

i would assume if you already own a home and have equity that you should be able to go "significantly" lower than 3.75% considering i just got 3.875% and you are in a much better position than i am as far as equity goes.

That rate is pretty good with no closing costs but there are sites you can check like bankrate that you can use to find comparables.

I refi'd to 3.5% with minimal closing costs (had to pay fOr appraisal and title insurance) two months ago. Found that deal through bankrate, the competing offers I got from BoA and my local bank were a joke.

i'm closing tomorrow at 2.87 down from my old 5.25 had 18 years left on my 20 and am going to 15 year
