That can play Real format, Quicktime, Avi, Divx, etc. I want an all in one without the spy ware/call back stuff that Realplayer and Quicktime has. Real player keep on trying to contact the internet for some reason. . . good thing I have my firewall there.

this one can, but you must have realplayer and the others installed before, but you can use media player classic to play them all

doesnt that defeat the purpose, i think hes trying to avoid installing quicktime and real.

I'm just trying to get around those programs dialing up their parent server and sending info to it. I view it as an invasion of my privacy.

No way to get around downloading Realplayer AFAIK. It's a proprietary format. Even media players like WinAmp that have RealMedia plugins don't get around the need to have Realplayer already installed on your system, they just enable you to play .rm format files.

no matter how much you try to avoid, they will find ways of 'invading your privacy'.
