What is a good laptop for game design?

I was wondering, what laptops out there are good for indie game desing? For the last few years I want to be a game designer since getting into the bigger games industry is tough I will probably make indie games instead. I would like to know what are some good laptops out there for game design?

Games for what platform? iOS, Android, PC, Mac, Linux?

For iOS and Mac you'd want a Mac laptop to run XCode. Or maybe a Mac Mini if this doesn't really need to be a laptop.
 
Check to see what your local college suggests. That is, if they offer a course in game design. Most do anymore.
