What is a good high capacity hdd?

I would like to get a new HDD for my PC. I currently have a 36GB WD Raptor. I am running out of space and am thinking of getting a new SATA HDD. I would like to 74GB WD Raptor, a 16MB cache SATA 300GB Maxtor, or a Seagate SATA 300GB drive. I was leaning toward the Maxtor because Anandtech gave it a good review and because I would get a lot more space than with a Raptor. Also, the 74GB drive might be too restrictive for me. I am also considering the Seagate drive because while I was searching these forums I noticed that many people here have had bad experiences with their Maxtor drives. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
