so really, besides gameboy, what other handheld system are there? considering buying one, and want a good one, preferable under 100 dollars........so that means no nintendo DS...........

Get a DS. I don't care that you said it has to be under $100. Nintendo is mostly a stupid company with crap products, but I had to check out the DS in the store and it is TOO SWEET. The entire reason for this is the stylus. Have you tried the metroid game? Holy crap. The stylus finally allows people to play FPS games without a mouse.

There are basically no other handhelds that are worth a look besides the SP under $100. Your choices are the SP or the DS. Pick one.

Turbo Express, baby.

Turbo Express was great stuff! Battery use was limited but it had a great little screen. There was also a little tv tuner for it if I remember correctly.

they have awesome graphix..

Lynx was also great but the graphics were very pixelated due to the super low res of the screen. Playing stuff like Ninja Gaiden and Gauntlet on it was fantastic.

Game Gear was also good with the nice sonic games, disney titles..etc.
