There was a thread on this recently (couple of weeks ago?). Anyhow, I gave my guys a Leatherman, except the junior groomsman, who received a computer game. 🙂

the last wedding i was in, we received watches. THey werent rolex's or anyting, but 80 to 100$ watches. I appreciated that.

LOL "Standing up in my wedding???"

They're called "groomsmen" you goober. Ever been to a wedding before? Just FYI, the female counterparts are "Bridesmaids" not "girls standing behind my person I am going to marry" (your wife-to-be is called a "fiancee," BTW)

Suggestions (I've been a "standing behind guy getting married" person a few times):

- Engraved Cross pen
- Tiffany's Cufflinks
- Booze

Basically you want something classy, preferably personalized or at least worthy of a keepsake. Remember, you are giving your groomsmen a gift to forever remind them of this special day, and as a HUGE thanks to being behind you and worthy of taking that place.

I collect Zippo lighters, so the groom got me a really nice one of those. He gave the best man a pocket watch because he really likes pocket watches.

That's a great idea, although I always liked something with the date or the couples names or initials on it.

Oooh, flasks with names engraved on them would be cool. Or free magazine subscriptions from the Hot Deals forum. 😛

ha ha ha ok ok i get your point, i didn't think it would have been a big deal to title it this way...per your request i will edit the title

thanks guys for the tips giving some good ideas

I think something specifically for each person is a nice gesture. If they are close enough for you to want them in your wedding, you should know they well enough to get each an individual gift.

When I was in my brother's wedding we all got a free (but ugly and ill-fitting) suit, but that's because his mother-in-law was a royal PITA and bought them without asking anybody. She didn't like whatever my brother wanted us to wear.
