I want to get a digital camera and am wondering which is a good one to get. I want this camera mainly for posting pictures online. I want something that could produce images of items to sell on eBay. I will also use it for taking everyday pictures. I don't want anything top of the line, or near it. I want something that is not too much money.

Thanks for your help.

Canon does make excellent digital cameras and photo printers.
I love my Canon S30 camera and S900 printer.
For decent everyday pix, you should have a minimum of 2MP camera.
Then again, for posting on eBay, you will need to reduce the resolution to lower than that because there are size limitations for any of the picture hosting services I've seen for eBay transactions.
(It is a simple matter to downsize the pix).

Canon A30 / A40 are both really good. But if you don't need the optical zoom, the Canon A100/ A200 are also excellent. My little A100 takes excellent everyday pictures, and the macro shots that is takes are really impressive - sharp and clear right down to 5 cm away from the subject, colour is very accurate too.

Check out Steves Digicams site for reviews and sample images.

I like the look and feels of the Sony Cameras. They're compact, and sleek looking. Problem is though, if you're looking for point and shoot, the AF Illuminator on the Sony slows the whole process up.
