I know it really depends on ambient room temperature, so I will be more specific and ask how many degrees *C higher should the case temperature be over ambient room temperature? Thanks.

My room temp (measured with compunurse) = 18.2*C
My Case ambient temp (measured with compunurse) = 19.4*C
CPU High = 26*C
CPU Low = 16*C

my case temps are really high even when i have the sides off... 30-33C. When I have my delta fan on my sk6, i get 39C... when i have my 27cfm sunon, i get 10 degrees over.

I am getting 24c system temps and 37c CPU temps.
Just starting overclocking only got to 138FSB and it locked up.
Using Epox 8K7A with XP1800. The PC now sees the chip as an XP1900 for some reason.
I have plucked in the USB connectors but nothing connected. Apart from that just an Audigy.
It shouldn't lock up with this lot should it??

The case thermistor on the AK31A is located more to the bottom of the board. When I close all the windows (in the room :)), the case temp goes up to 32*C (any my XP 1600 1.4 @ 1.59 goes as high as 48*C) on the most insane load of prime95 torture test, RC5 and folding@home at the same time. With windows open it dips to 25-26*C case and 44-45*C CPU.

i have a case temp of 21. The thermal sensor on my KT7A is towards the bottom of the board, near the cmos battery. i have a case intake fan down there also, so cool air in blowing into the sensor... so my case temp isn't totally accurate...

With good airflow the temp at any area of your case should be the same. It's not like is a big auditorium or anything. 10 cu. ft. at the max ;)
