www.audioreviews.com has some good user reviews.

CNet has user reviews that help a little, but you have to wade through the idiots posting reviews of gear they've never even tried:
- "this looks like it will be great!"
- "I bought a Sony once 10 years ago and it sux0red! stay away!!!1!!1!"
- ...more useless neffing...

Amazon.com carries a decent amount of electronics now, so they're also worth a look for comments.
