What is a good 21" monitor?

I have been reading reviews here and there and have some ideas. The Optiquest Q115 looks like a pretty good buy for it's price. The Samsung 1200NF also looks like a possibility. If anyone has any other suggestions, it would be helpful. I would like to stick to a budget of about ~$600. However, if there is a slightly more expensive monitor that has a large advantage in terms of visual quality, then I may be interested. If anyone has personal experience or extensive knowledge on this subject it would greatly appreciated.
 
Anand just revied a nice rather inexpensive 21 incher and features it in his Buyer's Guide: High-End SOHO - August 2002 featured on the home page.
 
I just recently bought a Dell P1130 (Trinitron) 21". Superb monitor with excellent image quality. I bought it after reading all the great reviews. Normally it's pretty pricey, but Dell had a sale awhile back where I got it with a 20% discount + free overnight delivery. If you check around, you can probably find it within your price range. In fact, check the Dell site. They usually rotate their sales every couple of months and it may be on sale again.

Don't get so testy. I did do a search, but I don't want to read through the millions of monitor threads to find specific ones about 21" monitors. I did try to search for threads about 21 inchers in specific. Jeez, some people.

Anyway, I have always been a fan of trinitron monitors,but this Hitachi looks really swell and has gotten some fantabulous reviews, baby.

Sorry, I got lost in an Austin Powers trip there....
 
You can get all the opinions you want but if your eyes don't like it it's going to suck......... so go to the store and check out some of the monitors that have been suggested 😀
