Probably no more then $500. Check places like ebay for comparable systems.

It's kind of an unwritten rule here that price checks like this aren't allowed, because they tend to turn into auction-like threads (ie: user1 replys saying he'll give you $200 and user2 replies saying he'll give you $250). So if the mods lock your thread, that's why. I wouldn't worry about it too much if they do :)

How's the weather up there in alaska this time of year? Is it true you have mosquitos that regularly carry off housecats ? ;)

Well I already have my friends dad interested in buying it so I'm trying to figure out what to sell it to him for.

It hit 79 4 days ago... hottest it's been this summer, now back down to ~60. The mosquitos are huge and there are about a billion of them... but I've never personally seen one carry a cat off... Although an interesting thing is the No-See-Ems (the name cuz you cant see them and they bite like a bitch, they make you bleed unlike mosquito bites) in Alaska are so big you can see them quite easily. No snakes or poisonous spiders though! one good thing :)

I have the same BM6 motherboard...you can put in a cB0 stepped FC-PGA Celeron-II in the BM6 without modifications. I think the fastest cB0 chip Intel made was the Cel2-600. I have a FC-PGA Cel2-533 overclocked to 800 by changing the FSB to 100. This is probably the best route, though some put in 566s and overclock them to 850. Either way, you get that important 100MHz FSB.

Intel doesn't make cB0 stepped Celerons anymore, so it's something you'll have to find on the used market. In terms of using current chips, you should be able to use the $25 PowerLeap adaptor. I THINK you could technically install a P3-1000/100 in the BM6, but I'm not sure. I have zero problems with my CPU.
