What is a fair price to pay for a futon?

Thinking of buying a futon to save some space. I went to IKEA and the prices seems outrages. I don't want a super name brand one either. Just something basic. I'm thinking of visiting them little mom & pop furniture stores. What kind of price seems fair? This is my first time shopping for furniture sadly enough 🙁
 
Well.... if you get the cheap ones from Walmart or something... well it's cheap and your back will hate you.
