What is a decent program to convert video to play on xbox 360?

Title says it all...I am looking for a dependable proggy that will convert just about anything to make it playable on my xbox 360...

Looking to rip my DVD collection so I can start making a media sever...also I have some assorted video files that I was hoping to convert to a playable format on the xbox 360.

You could try xmedia recode and handbrake (there is a preset available on the net for xbox360)
