What is a code review?

I'm fairly new to the interviewing process...
So I'm going to interview for an internship and part of the interview is a "code review." I've never heard of/done anything like that. From what I've read, it seems its like a peer review/proofreading, if you will, of code to catch problems. But how does that work in an interview? Is there anything I should do to prepare for it?

i've given tests on the spot to see how good of programmer you are.

You get an hour and problem. Then they run and look at your code. critique you, offer suggestion, and basically evaluate if your coding style will work with the company.

As far as preparing, you can't other than just practice programming. Though, this is for an internship, so most likely they won't look at the code TOO closely.
