I would think it means a beater car that you pick up for $500.00 and use for basic transportation until something expensive breaks at which time you just chuck it.

I have never heard of a "chuckable" car. I've heard of "tossable" cars, which means a car that is nimble and goes around corners easily, but never "chuckable".

never heard of it either. a google ssearch shows this thread as the 1st hit. there are many other hits that talk about how a car is chuckable but i see no explanation. it looks like it might mean how it handles, like in curves and stuff, based off the context.

A car that the guy in that stupid show Chuck would drive.
OR
A kick that has been roundhouse kicked by Chuck Norris in the past.

Disposable.

Meaning one you would buy with no intention of maintaining it. Just drive it until it dies then chuck it.

It means a car that is light and responsive; something you can chuck around a corner without feeling like you are losing control. It does NOT mean a cheap car that you can get rid of; if it did, it would never in a million years be used to describe this.

In my experience, I always used the term 'tossable' to describe cars that I could purposely slide/drift in, without losing the ability to control things. A lot of that is skill, a lot of it is the setup of the car. For me, a 1996 LT4 GS Vette was *not* tossable. Losing control and entering a slide in that thing was a hair-raising experience.
