Hey Guys The Power went out and i got this in the administrative tools (The device, \Device\Harddisk2\D, has a bad block.
), in the event viewer in systems. Could you tell what the bad block about. thanks
A bad block is an area on your hard drive that can't be used/isn't holding data properly. I think modern hard drives are supposed to transparently map out bad blocks, so if your getting errors it could be a very bad sign.
Run scandisk on full and make sure any important data on that drive is backed up regularly since it might be on it's way out.
