What is a Athlon XP 2400+?

As the topic says, what exactly is a 2400+, in terms of the codename? Is it a Tbred, or is there another name for it? I have a 2000+ sitting in my drawer which I thought was a tbred, but is a pally, as it turns out. What's the difference?

2400+ is probably a TBred B

they have much higher head room than the Pally's in terms of overclocking.
the XP2000+ is one of the highets clocked Pally's out there.. the TBred will clock alot higher than 2400+.. they are pretty good overclockers. (comparatively)

Basically, newer = better. So in general, a Barton is better than a Tbred, which is better than a Palimino, etc. The technical aspects, again in general - the Barton has 512K L2 cache and a FSB of 333, whereas the Tbred only has 256K and a FSB of 266. The Palimino was .18 micron, and the Tbred was .13 micron (Barton is .13 too).

a testament to Tbred overclockability - I have my 2100+ (TbredB) OC'd to 2700+ levels, and I still plan to go further - at least another 300mhz for 2.5ghz
