I was playing wc3 custom game and everybody was complaining host lagz.
1 person said he is on 56k
then another said no no no 36k
then another said 14k
and then somebody said AOL. ok i get the aol part.

anybody nkow what they talking about?
 
Literally that would be their internet speed. 56kbps, 36kbps, and 14kbps which are associated with dial-up.

I remember when I upgraded my US Robitics 36Kmodem firmware to a 3Com/US Robotics X2 56K modem. I thought it was so fast, but really it was dead slow. Dial up FTL.
