What is a 3.0 GPA equal to?

I would say LESS than 3.0 and you risk having trouble finding your FIRST job. After that, experience counts more.

This is at the University of CA system (well..I haven't see a UC that deviates from this method)

4.0 : A/A+
3.7 : A-
3.3 : B+
3.0 : B
2.7: B-
2.3 : C+
2.0: C

etc etc etc

Anywhere from a 80%-89.99% average here is a 3.0 and YES it is retarded. I won't get into the amount of 89% I have gotten here at Purdue.
