What is 3.0 PCI Express 16

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking at motherboards on NewEgg to understand power connectors, and I noticed that newegg wrote a couple of things about 3.0 PCI X16. (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128541). I have two (hopefully basic) questions.

What exactly is 3.0 PCI X16?
Does this specific motherboard have mroe than 3.0 PCI X16 slot?

The next pci e standard, successor to pci e 2.0 with approx twice the bandwidth theoretically. Practically for current gpus it is irrelevant for less than 3 gpus and unless you have SB e
