Hi guys
Just wondering...what exactly is 1T and 2T timing? The manual goes on about "increased clock cycles" with 1T being faster.
However, whenever I enable 1T timing I can expect problems, from not booting to getting a "critical exeption" error message halfway through benchmarks or games. This happens without fail. I then have to resort to putting in an old stick of 333mhz memory to boot up the system and change back to 2T.
In 2T mode, everything is fine.
My memory timings are at default with 2.5-4-8-4 (single-channel Geil DDR 400 memory.)
Mobo is MSI K8N Neo Platinum.
Not really a train smash, but it is quite annoying (especially when I'm not sure how relevant 1T is.)
Thanks
