what is 1st class like?

<-- Thinks of "The Airport" episode of Seinfeld where Elaine gets coach and Jerry gets 1st class...

That episode cracks me up everytime I see it.

last time for me it was champagne upon boarding, warmed nuts (cashews and such, not mine), nice dinner, custom made hot fudge sundae, all the booze you can drink. oh yeah and a couple hot towels for the face.

That is precisely what I thought of before I even opened this thread. I think it was on like last week.

Heh, reminds me of a story. This happened only a month ago, which was the last time I flew.

Due to a hectic schedule and me forgetting my garment bag, I literally had a huge duffel, a big briefcase, a laptop and five suits as carryon luggage. :Q

My arms were falling off.

I get on the plane and out of breath, I say to the stewardess who was greeting the passengers as we get on:

*puff* *pant* Excuse me, miss...is there someplace I can hang these suits up?

She immediately takes them from me and hangs them in some small closet thing...I was impressed!

She says "You must be so tired...can I get you something to drink?"

I was floored. I said "Um...water, please!" and continued to walk thru first class towards the back of the plane where my seat was. She said: "Oh....um..you're NOT in first class?" We'll get your drink when we get to the rest of the passengers."

DISSED!!!!! 🙁

LOL!!!! 😀

Roofles @ Michael D.

I've flown 1st class a few times, it was okay. Better seats, better service, that's about it. Until I'm making $400,000 a year I'll save the extra $ for other needs.

Especially nice on international.
But basically, the longer the trip, the better First Class is.

I've flown first on American and USAirways...I'd say USA domestic FC is not worth it. I recieved a free upgrade on USAirways, and I was nonrev on AA...no I lucked out.
