What is 115/230 VAC ?

its some specs from my PSU.

I dont know alot of PSU except watts 😱

What is it and i have it on the on my Psu (a little black switch).

Is it safe to run my computer at 155vac ?

Also if i switch it to 230 wil there be any difference ?

and Im going to get the Antec (chieftec) sx830 and here are the PSU Chieftec

Antec sx830

is the chieftec better since it has higher output?

If you live in the US don't change the switch to 230. The standard for electricity here is 110-115 and you will damage your system at 230. That is to allow manufactures to make a single product for multiple markets.

But what is Vac? is that how much power the PSU gives out or what?

And if its at 230 what can happen?
