what IRQ your video card use?

<< What's the relevance of this thread? 😕 >>

all my older systems seemed to use IRQ 11. I was wondering is IRQ 5 was giving my 3d apps problems

Since you are running XP, IRQ's should not be a problem. Try different drivers and check your BIOS settings.

you are probably using 2k/xp, and the reason they all shared 11 was because the machine was using ACPI .. if you arent having problems , then its a non-issue ..

This thread could actually be quite informative. I am currently running an AMD K6II-400 that I cobbled together when the mobo in my main machine took a dump. This machine does not support ACPI and after checking Device Manager I noticed that everything has it's own IRQ with the Video Card (GeForce 3 TI 200) using IRQ 11 all by itself. I hope theis info is helpful. I'm curious to see the IRQ layout when I get my mobo back.

<< On a non-ACPI system the videocard will usually use 11. On an ACPI system it'll usually be 5. >>

Wouldn't that be the other way around..?
