A Mr. Fusion hooked up to every house and car in the world would fix 99% of our problems.

A 3d Computer Generated Sexual Gratification Human Cyborg that can take the form of any race color or creed and I wouldn't have to do anything but sit back and enjoy the ride.

Would that be considered cheating on my wife if that were to actually come out?

Penis enlargement pills that actually work.

A pill that made one's penis vibrate would be much better.

They already a ring for that... I swear if people get more sex, they wouldn't be so obsessed with the subject.

Teleportation would be pretty danm cool. Especially if I could do it from my house to anywhere in the world.
(and it's free or very very very cheap).

Wireless power FTW! Might be something that could actually happen.

A machine/computer/robot that can pass the turing test.

Fire and the wheel is revolutionary, but at the same time, it's quite intuitive and doesn't take a lot of innovation to come up with. I'm not too impressed.
Einstein, however, figured out that a massive object can bend light, or that time of an object dilates as that object's speed increases. That just blows my mind.

Pretty much light travel and time travel. I can't comprehend either which is probably what it was like for the first people who figured fire out.

a Tesla gun

teleportation

way to read minds/thoughts, or just communicate without verbally talking

Read a lot of Heinlein?

Faster than light travel, and as a bonus, find a way of eliminating time dialation effects.

Discovery of life on Mars, Iapetus, or more likely, in my opinion, Europa.

Earthly inventions: cheap, efficient nuclear fusion technology. I just think that that would be key to solving so many of our energy problems. No more burning fossil fuels. Producing hydrogen through electrolysis would be easy. There could be large desalinization plants to provide fresh water from the oceans to places that don't have access to sufficient ground water. Even aluminum prices could go down - producing pure aluminum requires a lot of electricity.

Aw now that'd be boring. Just get a Fleshlight if that's what you're really after.

The next step will be a robot that knows enough to ask, "Do I have rights?" Then what do we do?
