What inkjets are easy on the ink?

I have a Lexmark, I also have the urge to damage it because it uses too much ink. Have heard good things about Canon, any opinions?

I have been very happy with my Canon i960. It is fairly light on ink. I have printed maybe 15 8x10s and 30 4x6s and I just recently ran out of the original ink carts.

 

get a laserjet. Next printer I buy will be one of those...screw inkjet, its all a scam.

canon is awesome usually, my IP1000 is very frugal i find

i have a canon i960. it is great. light on ink and when one color runs out, i need only replace that tank. there are 7 tanks. black, 3 colors and 3 photo colors.

also, i get my ink from here. it is their own brand, but just as good as the name brands. i have been using them for almost 6 yrears and they are a great company with awesome products and fantastic CS.

See if they have your brand of ink and give them a go.
