What information is stored in the motherboard CMOS and what happens if it is cleared?

time, date, settings, bios password, and all the other settings like memory interleaving and agp mode. If you clear it, everything will go to default settings, and you will have to tweak all your bios settings again.

I downloaded the P4T manual, there does not appear to be a cmos shorting jumperset. First time ive seen this. Are you just doing the battery thing?
