what in the world is wrong with my cpu....?

okay, my computer should be alright...

512 ram pc133
leadtek winfast geforce 4 ti 4200 VIVO
52x cdrom
24x10x40 cdrw
athlon 1.2ghz
two usb expansion card
regular cable internet card
onboard sound
motherboard: Aopen AK73 PRO with dr voice.

So, heres my computer, (with my room being quite hot and humid)

Starts up, and, sometimes, just plain freezes... now today, icq decided to stop running (something wrong with icq.exe or so it says, even though I tried re-installing it, and different versions) so now I run icq lite and it blows...

Anyway, games, freeze now on me, like, unreal 2003 was running fine, and then one day, it just started freezing, like, i have reinstalled it, and gotten the patch, and done different detonator drivers, but not only that, now fifa 2002 freezes too, and, I mean, is it the damn video card???

warcraft 3 wont run now either, its driving me damn insane...

I am running windows 2000 now because It was the only way I could find to get both my hd's working (30 and 40 gig maxtors)

Anyway, my comp is being so stupid, and I hate it, so, is this the damn video card, or is it something else???

Various things can be man, for example CPU or Video fans checkit, Windows 2000 is a fair OS maybe if you try with Windows 98se or Windows XP, remenber that W2000 is totally NT based and is too incompatible, system memory y a factor that you can't forget or bad sector in you harddisks, but video board is quite dificult, system memory is a common trouble that i locate in some systems, and your motherboard but is the last thing that you have to investigate.

Ok you can start with system memory and later the system fans, another detail is when people put the computer in places without air flow like holes behind a table or put many things over the case if you cut the air flow your computer tuns hot and freeze.
