I rented chicken run for my son from hollywood video and there is a little metal piece in the dvd case so I can't open it. Are they supposed to remove this so no one steals the dvd?

I am asking for a free dvd rental if that is the case.

Yes, they probably just forgot to remove the strip.

WHen you return it, just let them know and they'll give you a free rental.

yea i think they put some type of anti-theft mecahnism on it that only the entrusted 16 year old can remove with a special tool on the counter.
