What in the hell is apple trying to prove!!!

All im sick of is watching comedy central and seeing a stupid G5 commersial and thinking to myself "who is apple trying to fool?".

All i want to know is if they are so good in spec tests why havent they submitting any performance specs?

I see:

?????????????? Can anyone explain this?

Do a search, it has been talked about alot when they first came out. I think the higher Spec scores you listed are because of optimized compilers. The ones apple gave use gcc on both the macs and pcs, which is not even optimized very much for the mac, more for the pc. But I recomend you try a search for more accurate information.
