I don't have to put in my email or any of that stuff for geforce experience. It popped up when i first installed it, just clicked the X and closed it and everything works fine getting drivers, etc.

I'm afraid nVidia considers themselves without serious competition from anybody even AMD and, human nature being what it is (evil), they are doing things that they know their customers do NOT like . Personally I've had it with nVidia (I never thought I'd say that!) and am looking forward to my 2 new AMD R9 290 4GB.

I want to say no, but I don't think I go into NV Panel or GFE enough to feel confident in my answer.

There are definitely ads during the driver installation.

Ok, that is good news. AMD allows you to disable 'Web Content' which is the nice name for advertisements, but this is all done through settings and not by default. Shit like this would pop up if you didn't disable it. Very annoying.

I guess I'll get the NV experience later today once I get my card.

GFE does not have any advertising. There is only advertising in the driver installation.
