Hillary Clinton makes so much money from the Clinton Foundation that she no longer feels the need to be running for president?

Seeing as the Clintons were destitute when they first left the White House.... I suppose you are right. Why would she want to put themselves through that again must be for a different reason.

This has to be one of the more substantive threads started by a delusional conservative in weeks.

Congrats, delusional conservative. Really.

Thank you, and keep up the impressive work.

Omg! It's a conspiracy! People paid Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton a bunch of money to speak in front of them.

Wait. What the hell? Aziz Ansari (the comedian) got paid $46 million between 2015 and 2016 to speak in front of audiences? Oh, it's not unusual to command high amounts of money to speak in front of people?? Wait a second... I knew that. Then again, I'm not an idiot. If you particularly want to hear someone speak in front of you, then you pay them. It's not up to you to decide how much they cost, just up to you to decide if you can afford it. Lots of people wanted to have Bill Clinton speak to their group, so he was able to get more money for doing it.

If that charity gets more money, more money will be spend on it's charitable causes.

End of story.

Of all things to try to turn into a problem it shouldn't be their charitable work (this is true for people on either side of the political spectrum). I could see arguing over a lack of charitable work though.

What if Donald Trump was president and blew up the world acting carelessly with nukes and tossing around threats. Say Trump and Putin had a falling out of sorts, and Donald refused to apologize and Putin refused to apologize, and the nukes went flying. After the smoke cleared, would the need for money even exist? Or would the survivor be forced into a barter system? And how would that last survivor barter with a radioactive zombie who's only interest was to eat brains?

It was posted late and I was tired.

I am sorry so many need to put you down. They do so because they were all trained by terrible pain that if they themselves did something out of their programmers thought was abnormal, that they were to be humiliated. The pain of that experience made them mean and spiteful and terrified of making any sort of mistake. The so called sin of your mistake is far less than the one they are making. Your job is to forgive yourself so you can get past the feeling of the need to get even or punish someone else similarly later. But let go of it even if you fail again. Letting go of meanness isn't easy and must be done with self forgiveness since it has its origin in self hate and punishing yourself for failure is just the other hidden face of that two faced coin.

I've been there

You never know what reverberations may redound from some random act of presence. When I was a little boy I had two shiny silver colt 45s that I drew and fired at a man driving by. He collapsed and fell over his steering wheel. I wish there were some way that I could personally thank him for the joys I have experienced by aspiring to be awake like he was to the lives of children.

We are all children.

The Clintons understand that money is what happens after a Presidency.
They know, they've done it before. And I'll state there's nothing inherently wrong with that.
