What if you can replace tobacco with weed?

As in what if you can suddenly make tobacco illegal while making marijuana legal, would you do it?

Why on earth would anyone want that? The legality of pot only affects the dealers, as the price never goes up (not in my area, anyways), and even if things are good, never goes down either. Why would anyone want to pay more for something they can already get?

Yes, only because it would be nice to separate marijuana buying from the same channels as coke and harder drugs, making buying it way less sketchy. Plus, it would be nice to be able to grow a couple plants for personal use.

I think so. If you are a consenting adult you should be able to do whatever you want as long as it does not hurt anyone else.

BUT....by doing crack you can hurt friends and family. So don't make that legal...but pot has never hurt anyone.

There's wisdom in that idea.

The people that really don't contribute to society will wipe themselves out, but it might kill some of the better people too (some of the more addictive drugs really do need to be controlled).

I would gladly replace pot with tobacco.

Pot is just as unhealthy, but at least it chills people out a lot more and doesn't smell nearly as bad. The problem is you can't use as much of it; pot will really screw you up if you chain smoke like you can with cigarettes. Absolute stoners are losers, hopefully legalizing marijuana wouldn't create more of them.
