this the same Ron Paul that rails against government dollars - but has his hand out to collect them?

You may have him confused with his son, Rand Paul-who is adamantly opposed to cutting Medicare payments to doctors, especially eye doctors.

Rand Paul has gone on record saying he would support such cuts. He has only said it would be unfair to only target doctors instead of everybody. He is right. He also warned that this would create a situation where it would be hard to find a doctor for Medicare patients.

More fail.

Keep em coming though. :D

Fail as usual.

Yes as long as the government is handing out his the people of his districts they should get some as well.

Get some new material guys.

Like the new Tea Party senators/congressmen that want to slash the gov't budget but do not want to slash any that they benefit from, ie. farm subsidies?

Do you see me defending that?
A lot of the so called tea party people do not actually believe in smaller government, maybe only in certain places if at all.

I have a lot of problems with a lot of people in the tea party.

As long as the government is taking peoples money to give it to others don't expect those same people to close their hands.
If you do you don't understand human action.
This is the problem with big government and how it gets out of control.
We're witnessing it right before our eyes.

Well maybe exactly, its called human nature and why government to some extent, is always corrupt. The matt0611 implied delusions is that its just started happening now when human nature and greed is as old as humanity itself.

So the Ron Paul solution is to deregulate everything which only gives human nature and greed its best playground to thrive in.

I hope this short post explains to all you Paul Bots why your hero is out on some la la land fantasy trip. And why there has never been a libertarian government on this planet and why there never will be.

A fool and his money.....Another fundamentalist christian male televangelist messiah for suckers.

The guy is such a crackpot luckily for rational peoples sanity his 15 minute of internet spam for suckers like this guys money were up years ago.
Just because he's smart enough to be an evolution skeptic doesn't mean he's a theocon. If he was a theocon, he wouldn't have said that he supported the right of people to build a mosque on ground zero.

While I agree that he may seem to have some paleocon tendencies, he's still an anarchist and anarchists aren't theocons.

When did I said it has just start happening now?
The US government has been growing on a massive scale since the early part of this century.

Lol with the "libertarian" government bullshit.

And did I ever say I wanted a "libertarian" government?
Whatever the fuck that even means

And I advocate for a smaller government and especially a smaller federal government that has gotten out of control and has crept WAY past what it was originally created for. Our government has never been bigger. And here we are with the results of it.

Ron Paul is just one man, ideas are much more important.
He will never be president anyway.

Your delusion is that if we just magically "regulate" everything with big government (also controlled by flawed human beings) then we can protect ourselves from our own greed and corruption. Talk about living in la la fantasyland. You only have one idea, more control, thats it. I think the results speak for themselves.

Plutocrats don't like libertarianism, because it doesn't give them what they desire. The Articles of Confederation was opposed by the NE banksters, merchants, as well as some of the southern planter class, while it was heavily supported by the middle class and others who loved liberty.

That said, your argument fails on all accounts.

Except this is totally untrue, we have less federal workers then ever. You all once again are tools of corporate propaganda.

What we do have is massive giveaways to big industry of workers tax moniesand here you are advocating for more corporate socialism.

You folks should hang your heads in shame for being such gullible tools and not using your head before buying some bullshit you saw on tv/radio.
