It could be a possibility, in my mind anyways. I mean, don't the companies' cards' always perform in reaching distance of each other? Like look at this year, at NVIDIA's midrange lineup. It's basically a disaster compared to previous generations but then look at ATI's, it's also a screwup, and the cards perform basically the same. How much of a possibility is there for two companies of different management to "screw-up" their midrange lineup and still have them perform competitively with their counterpart from the other company? It's just weird to me. If they were owned by one company, they could do anything to control the consumers and the graphics card market by baiting and using all sorts of company strategies to maximize their income. I'd like to hear what you think of this subject.
