What if I told you drinking coffee everyday sucks.

I quit drinking coffee a month ago and literally have not had a headache since.

It makes no difference in how alert you are if you drink the same amount of coffee everyday compared to drinking no coffee. If you increase how much coffee you drink you just get more and more dependent on coffee and get a withdrawal headache easier and easier.

I wake up in the morning and I'm fully alert, right away. I don't stumble around for 30 minutes until I drink some coffee. Which by the way, and you know this, sometimes you don't really feel like drinking first thing in the morning, especially when its summer and hot out but do so anyway.

So then you get an iced coffee but you have no idea how strong it is and you'll inevitably get a headache either that day if its weak or sometime later if its stronger than your normal brew.

80% of people are caffeine dependent. Suckers :p.

I stopped my major caffeine intake two years ago. Instead of grabbing a soda or coffee I take a bong rip. Works for me.

Sounds like someone's jealous of us still coffee drinkers.

A little :p

I'm conflicted. It did taste good. Thing is though I can push through tiredness in a workday but a caffeine withdrawal headache is debilitating. I would sleep in on the weekend and wake up with a headache because it was 3 hours after I'd normally have had my coffee and my day was done for. Increase the amount of stuff you get done my ass! :p

Coffee literally built this country. Coffee keeps Americans constantly speeded up which is great for productivity.
In fact, coffee and cigarettes landed a man on the moon.

Some weeks I drink tons of coffee, others I hardly touch the stuff. Can't remember the last headache I had.

Perhaps you have head cancer or something.

I need coffee every morning. I'm dependent on it which is just fine with me. Love the taste the little buzz I get on my first cup. Not sure if being dependent on caffeine is such a bad thing.

It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion.
It is by the beans of Java the thoughts acquire speed,
The hands acquire shaking,
The shaking becomes a warning.
It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion.

I enjoy having coffee. I don't get head aches from it. Last head ache I got in general was maybe a year or two ago?

For the early mornings I usually have a coffee, but when I'm not working or on night shift I rarely drink coffee. I might have one on my first night shift, as I'll start to get tired around 3-4am so it gives me an extra kick to make it to 7.
