your premise is flawed, if you accept the fact that a war is started when one group wants to dominate another. all of the "good" wars in your examples were simply responses to wars that were already started.

War is reality, and it isn't going to disappear. However, liking war is a different level. You shouldn't LIKE war, in fact, you should hate it and try to avoid it, but if that is your only recourse, so be it. If it's Plan A, you should seriously seek a psychiatrist.

OOOO WHOS THE CANCER??? WHOS THE CANCER??? you finish that analogy right now mister
MUSLIMS ARE

WTF? :p It seemed pretty complete to me. Sometimes to only recourse is a bit of measured violence in order to stave off a whole lot more violence.

yes, all muslims are a cancer. way to go generalization man. that's like saying all christians are xenophobic zealots bent on world domination. oh wait, maybe you have a point.

Swish! That went right over your head.

war is reality, true.

But war is also always the LAST ressort when common sense, or reasoning, or morales, or whatever FAILS.

If two people have an argument ("IS VISTA better than XP ?") and they cant settle the argument,do you think it's the better way to solve
differences in an opinion by smashing each other's face in ? (Or, respectively, due to lack of arguments, start using swear-words ?) :)

And then say "oh..i like war/violence/smashing faces in"...and dont even bother what the underlying reason for it is :)

This must be (sorry)..the MOST stupidest thing i've ever read here.

From that point of view you would be the ideal candidate to fight for WHATEVER reason....eg. even if some second hitler told you to fight WHOMEVER you would do it because "you like war" without even asking the morale behind if.

Besides..i cant see any real soldier,. someone who has been in battle "liking" war. The few i know which came back from Iraq for sure did NOT.

btw... "War, to me, is the only way to achieve peace. " <--

btw...see YOUR ARGUMENT.

So was arguing Saddam H, Hitler, whoever..."oh, we have some citizens which are not satisfied with how we rule our gvt"..so let's use military and torture to bring order <-- is the same view, except that violence is used against the own citizens. They could also have said "hmm..let's think...maybe we could give our citizens more freedom, less censorship, more freedom of speech"..but instead chose violence.

So..let's just slay every oponent of our (your ?) opinion...kill them..and then we have peace ?

HWould you also say "war is the only way to achieve peace" if you were a chinese citizen, or a north korean citizen ?

I mean..wouldnt you be here on the forum now and say that it would be REALLY, REALLY GOOD to start a war with the usa because you think war with the usa would be the only way to achieve peace ? (Or minimize the 'threat' ?) etc..etc...

I'll let you edit this for cohesion because it's just a cluster-****** of words with ellipsis' strewn about. I'll respond tomorrow to whatever you choose to edit it to/choose not to edit.

I spent time in Baghdad and want to go back. I wasn't on the frontline so I can't claim I was in the thick of things, but doing my job where bullets are flying was satisfying. In that way, I guess I like war, though I'd rather we kill them all the time while taking no casualties especially with the chickensh!t way those bastards are fighting right now.
