what if i dont share in bittorent?

Some sites have a ratio requirement, where if you have less than a .30 ratio or whatever you can't download any more.

Other sites don't care.

but at my sisters computer when i just quickly installed a stand alone of utorrent, the upload ration is .06 or less and my speeds are 250+. I dont even get that sweet of speeds on my computer where im sharing alot and i have the settings optimized. hmmm.

Because when you share/upload, you saturate your connection and your download gets slower.
