<< 1) We don't have to worry about the Arabs nations slaughtering them anymore. Our friends would be safe here.
2) We don't have to spend a lot of money to defend Israel anymore. We can use this money to help our own poor.
3) The Israelis would not be a drain to our country -- most are well educated and can make major contributions to our society.
4) Our Air Force will get a bunch of top-notch fighter pilots -- so our national defense will be strengthened.
5) Hopefully, the Arab and Muslim world won't hate us as much anymore.

Is my idea too wacky?
>>

Is your idea wacky? No, if you had suggested that we give them all whoopee cushions, then I would have said yes. It is the type of suggestion that makes for interesting conversation but is not worth seriously considering for more than about 2 seconds.

In regards to your 5 statements:
1. Not true - if recent events have taught us anything, its that people aren't safe in the US.
2. We have plenty of money to do that now and we chose not to.
3. There are plany of ignorant uneducated people in any religion
4. They won't be citizens and therefore won't be pilots in our military ever.
5. Arabs and Muslims as a group don't hate us.

<< Because almost all Jews in the US are Socialists, as per their voting patterns. >>

Actually, my understanding is that the various "denominations" of Judaism show distinct and durable trends in their voting patterns. Reform Jews, as an aggregate group, tend to hold very liberal views, and disporportionately vote for Democratic candidates. Conservative and Orthodox Jews, OTOH, tend to hold solidly conservative POV's, and their votes usually break strongly Republican.

I'm not certain what the demographics of Israel are as far what percentages of Israeli citizens profess to each of the denominations of Judaism. I'm inclined to think that the proportion of Conservative/Orthodox Jews would be higher in Israel than Reform Jews, but i might be completely off base.

We wouldn't even notice the population density if they all come to Canada, except for growth in commerce and ingenuity that they bring.

Oh piss the F- off the both of you.... let's not introduce another racist view just yet...

So Jerusalam was threatened before the Jews came eh?

Bethleham is in what? It's in Palestinan teritory... it's been treated with the utmost respect.

Jerusalam is what? It's the second/third holiest city in Islam... before Mecca... Muslims use to pray in the direction of Jerusalam.

So why don't you biggots sit down and shut the F- up.

<< Even if all Israelis decided to move to the US it would be a logistical nightmare, the population of Israel is around 6 million and unless the they moved gradually over a number of years it would be virtually impossible to accommodate them. >>

All the men could move out east... we'll gladly welcome the women in california... :)

You don't need to have the US military to take Canada, because your militias would have more than enough fire power to over take us....Heck, you could persuade most of the provinces to join the US, if you promise to annex Quebec.

yeah, and while we're at it, let send all the Protestants from Northern Ireland over to England so they'll stop having terror attacks there......hmmm, I think that idea is almost as ridiculous. It's a good thing you can't possibly be serious.

Surely you mean the other provinces would consider statehood, so long as we excluded Quebec from consideration, right?

<< there has always been the promise that the Jews will be delivered to a "promise land" of some sort where they can live freely and without fear >>

The "promised land" does refer to Israel. It's most often used when saying the Jews returned to the promised land after 40 years in the desert. (dessert? I can never remember.)

<< Yes. An entire race just picking up and leaving is not feasible. >> well thats what they did when the re-occupied isreal. >>

Um... there are more many many more Jews in the USA than in Israel. The entire race certainly didn't pack up and leave.
>>

Umm ... I don't think this is accurate... I think there are about 1.2 million jews in the US... compared to over 6 million in Israel... if i'm wrong... correct me.

man... people and their bloody pics... ;p

i'll describe one for you.... there was this chick... a friend of my twin cousins'...

this chick was about 5'6" had aqua-blue eyes.... thick raven colored hair down past her ass... and had a body that would make you piss in your pants... and a face you could simple stare at forever... her voice was soooo f-in sexy... it would cause your phalus to erupt through your pants and shoot through a wall....

and she was sooooooooooooo well mannered and pleasant... I recall getting into an argument with her (me and my incredible miserable luck with women... suprise suprise...) and the most foul think that came out of her mouth was "snake in the grass...."

man i'd love to be the snake in HER grass!!!!!!!!!!! :D

My Canadian brothers going to kill me for this?a lot of Canadian may sound like they dislike American, but boy do we love the US dollars that we yearn for the chance to work in the US. My point is might as well be an American if you constantly want to work & earn Uncle Sam dollars. And, we make fun of the Quebecois as much as the American, but they don't really have any thing that we want except for their women.

/me put on flame suit.

I presume that you ask this question in innocence not arrogance. You have a decided lack of grasp of the geo politik. What makes you believe for an instant, that Israeli's WANT to leave the Holy Land? The Jews have ancient roots in Judea and Sumeria. Not a one in Topeka...

Jerusalem is in Israel, people wanna live there because it's the holy city.

<< NEVER!! The Holy city need protection!! >>

this holy city business has always kinda bothered me. It's the holy city to muslims too, so I don't like how Israelis have refused to share Jerusalem. whatever, my 2 bits...

<< What if every Jew in Israel emigrated to the US? >>

Who would pay for it? That's what I thought. I'll pass.

Besides, Israel is their home and a soverign nation recognized by everyone (including neighboring arab states who reluctantly agreed to give it that status decades ago).

The conflict will continue until either side is either destroyed or convinced peace is better for them than constant fighting.

What if every Jew in Israel emigrated to the US?

Then no Jew or Christian would have access to the Holy Land.
