What I really want for Christmas

Your congratulations will be in the form of larger paychecks once you enter the work force.

I got a desk clock. The big payoffs will be the open doors years from now that only come from having that diploma. Others rarely understand the price you paid in time and anxiety.

BTW, congrats!

I have been out of college for over 20 years, and I still have not heard anyone in my family say 'good job' even though I was the first in three generations to have done so. Don't wait too long for those congratulations, and whatever you do- don't expect them. Your accomplishments are just that- yours. I have found more fulfillment in accomplishing my own goals than the weight of someone telling me 'good job' on part of something they did not set out to do. I will offer my congratulations though, because I feel your pain🙂

I can't believe I got so serious this early on Christmas Day...
