What i need to do to watch HD on my pc?

I just download some video from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/window...ent_provider/film/ContentShowcase.aspx

Yes the video are playing very well.Am i in HD mode when i watch this? I mean do i need to do something else to enable HD?(exemple, to have HD on a television, you need to buy a HD television...with the PC, do you just need to have WM10 and get thos HD videos to have HD?)

To watch the video's yeah, but good luck finding them.

Yes you are watching in HD mode.

You don't even need WM10; you only need WM9 and make sure you have the latest encoder installed just in case you need it.

Dont know of that many sites with HD video streaming.

By the way, 6800's are great for HD video scaling.

Well if you have your resolution set to 640x480 or such then you really arn't seeing "HD", but as long as your resolution is set to the resolution of the video or better then you are getting the full effect.

That's true about monitor resolutions.

I'm looking at my copy of Terminator 2 Extreme DVD:

At the back it states that to watch DVD-ROM T2: High-Def recommended display should be 1600x1200, 1920x1080 or higher display setting.
