Hey Gang,
I will be at home with my two daughters for a couple of hours tonight and would like to do something special with them.

Do you have any suggestions?

Update:
My son and wife didn't go to the wilderness survival class last night as planned. So I was left home with all thrre kids. We made our own playdough then the older two watched Spiderman and Isabella & I played Dora the Explorer on the computer.

Thanks again for all the great ideas!

Age? Under 12 years versus over 12 makes a big difference in activites they will enjoy.

Are you staying in or going out?

If they're young, I say tea party/dress up where you are their model. If they're not young, watch a chick-flick.

Tell them how much you care, talk to them, learn from them. Don't waste your short time on games or movies. Get to know them. Heck you might start to understand why girls grow up to be complicated adults.

Their ages are four and two, we could do either, but staying in would be perfered.

Play board games, that way you can actually talk to them instead of watching a movie.

I was thinking the same thing....on that note, I concur with the board games.

I have 1girl and 2boys, but, my little girl and I enjoy painting a big picture/mural on something for mommy if we have time. I have also been the guest at many tea parties featuring other guests such as Barbie, Elmo, GI Joe, Big Bird and many other celebrities.

Instead of playing board games with them, why don't you teach them something, like sports, reading, or even shopping/cooking. At least, play some kind of educational game with them.
